Casement Windows

A casement window is a window that is hinged on one side and opens outward like a door, usually using a crank handle.

Because the whole window swings open, casement windows provide excellent ventilation and can catch side breezes better than sliding or hung windows. When closed, they seal tightly, which makes them very energy efficient. They’re also easy to open and are great for hard-to-reach places like over kitchen sinks.
